Saturday night

4 tickets to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams, Jr.: $300.00

2 babysitters for 4 kids under 14 months: $200.00

Hamburger, nachos, chicken finger basket and 4 - 24 ounce beers: $100.00

Spending 7 hours doing anything but changing diapers: Priceless

Anne Marie and Brett had tickets for the Rowdy Frynds tour, so we tagged along. We had fun people-watching, but the concert didn't do much for us. The music was soooo loud that it was distorted. We watched all of Skynyrd (and Blake pointed out that every member of that group is likely toting a Medicare card), but we left after the first 3 or 4 Hank songs. There was a crazy dancing guy one row behind us that made the evening especially worthwhile. Anne Marie got some good video (until he busted her), so when she sends it I'll post it here for your viewing pleasure.

The highlight of the evening was definitely this mullet:

This braided rat-tail mullet was pretty impressive, also.

You can tell we were definitely hanging with the upper-crust last night!

$200 to babysit your kids for 7 hours? Yikes, I figure you must owe Kay and Tom like a gazillion dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

$100 for our sitter and $100 for Anne Marie's. Fortunately Nana and Chappy take their pay in hugs and kisses from the kids!

Maybe Blake can figure out a way to write-off your evening. The band could be potential S.A.F.E. Planning clients! Creative accounting, baby!

The mullets don't get any better than that.
