Happy 1 Month, Owen! (and belated 17 months to Landry!)

It's crazy to think Owen's already been around for a month! Seems like we were just finding out we were pregnant with him. He's a very easy-going baby. He eats and sleeps, with the occasional poopy diaper thrown in the mix. He's been getting belly aches pretty regularly, but hopefully that won't last much longer. He had his circumcision on Tuesday. The good thing about an uncircumcised penis is that when he peed during diaper changes the stream went down into the diaper or the changing pad. Now that he's had a little taken off the top he whizzes everywhere - even in his ear! We go back on Tuesday for his follow up with the urologist. They ordered results from the ultrasounds that were done at the hospital when Owen was a day old. I'm curious to see what they have to say about his kidneys.

He's doing great, and growing like a weed! We sure didn't expect a fifth member in our family, but we sure did fall in love with him quickly!

He had his first overnight stay at Pop and Dee's last night, and then a quick visit with his great grandparents today. Papa still loves babies as much as ever. I think had we stayed a few minutes longer they both would have been napping on the couch!

Landry turned 17 months on Wednesday, which just happened to be Pop's birthday. We had dinner as a family (all 13 of us) at Texas Roadhouse to celebrate.

Landry is a hand full right now. She's still loving Owen, but she and Camden have been arguing more since we brought Owen home. It's a lot of fun. It's sometimes hard to remember that she's only one and we can't discipline her the same way we can Camden. She's still a baby!

She's getting more and more lovable. She's never been much on cuddling, but seems to be coming around these last few weeks. She doesn't slow down often, so it's nice when she climbs up in our laps and sits still for a while.

We're all adjusting quite well to life as a family of 5. Blake typically handles the first night feeding, and I get the second. Sometimes I luck out because the second falls around 6 or 7 a.m. We're getting a decent amount of sleep, but could always use more. Camden's still a "good helper", and Landry likes to try to help and then proclaim "good job", even though most folks wouldn't have a clue what she's saying. For having three kids in 27 months I think we're doing pretty well!
