Happy babies = happy parents

Happy child might not equal happy dog.
He definitely is his father's son. (notice the Diet Coke?)
Doing a little Father's Day shopping.
Rubbing Landry's head for luck?
Landry loves the jumperoo!
And the camera.

Camden figured out tonight that he can "swim" in the tub.
Landry checking out Camden's digs.
"Hey guh."
Sweet smiles!
At least somebody's looking in the right direction.

Happy belated birthday!

Uncle Chad had a birthday on Friday. The Raineys love you!

Back in action

Sorry we've been MIA. Both of the kids have been sick and our phone/Internet connection has been out since Wednesday. Camden stopped vomiting Tuesday morning and Landry started Tuesday night, then the poo pants started. Camden has two of his molars breaking through, so he's been REALLY fun to deal with. Poor guy went from an ear infection to a stomach bug to a really bad attitude because of his swollen, achy gums. Today he woke up in a good mood and has been pretty much his normal self since then. I was missing his normal self - badly. Fortunately Landry was a trooper through her illness, otherwise I would have been a nutcase without Blake last week. (He left for San Francisco Tuesday and got back last night. I got to cancel my trip to stay home with the babies.) Here are some pictures from our week (the good and the bad):

Camden likes to grab Landry's feet and say "toes".

He turns it into a 2 syllable word with a question mark on the end.

Landry rolled from her back to her tummy for the
first time on Friday. She was pretty proud of herself.

Camden has been eating bananas like a crazy little monkey lately.

Sometimes this is how we find Landry in the swing.

Two sweet babies.

And later that day being not-so-sweet.

Apparently when your "broombroom" goes under the couch life is just not worth living anymore.

A sleepy, sleepy baby

This is where Landry passed out last night.

FYI

Just in case any of you are ever keeping our kids and you think you've misplaced one, check here:

Puddin' britches

On Sunday Camden decided it would be best if we let him hold the spoon AND the pudding. He got bored with the spoon and decided to try it beverage style. Obviously vanilla would have been a better choice for his first solo venture.

Happy 15 months, Camden!

His 15 month gifts have inadvertently been amoxicillin, pedialyte, cold medicine, another trip to the doctor, a finger prick and a mouth full of vomit. And still he smiled for the picture.
