Actually, I think he was. His only comment was "that's what happens", or words to that effect.
His Pop is proud of his 8 month old grandson. Pop is 665 months old and sometimes wakes up in the same state!!!

Yes it is normal. Thankfully I read about it before Gaven was born to prepare myself. If I would have seen that without prior knowledge, I would have called the Dr.
