It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Rainey house (finally). We decided that our Christmas tree and our new child might not mix so well this year, so we bought a 5 footer and put it on a piece of furniture in the breakfast room. It's a nice compromise because I can still enjoy having a Christmas tree and Camden can't reach it! It seems like a good plan for next year also. And maybe the one after that and the one after that. We'll see how long it takes kids to stop messing with ornaments. We're looking forward to our first Christmas as a family of three, even though we know all Camden will really care about is wrapping paper and boxes! We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!!

Having the Rainey Family in my life certainly makes for a very Merry Christmas for me. That 5' tree will probably see many years of use!
